Oh how excited I was for the release of this book! How I've missed the little blonde sassy mind reader and her eclectic friends and Eric!
A lot of familiar characters show up in this book. Eric, Bill, Pam, Jason, Sam, Alicide, Claude, many others and some new comers! Most important of all.. Eric's dad.. or his maker.
This wasn't my favorite Sookie book but I was happy enough with the storyline. Considering how the last book left off I feel it was a bit lighter than I was expecting.
As usual Sookie finds herself in the middle of, well, everything! Werewolf politics, Vampire business and Fae Issues.
I'm assuming everyone who has read the previous Sookie books have already gotten this book if not planning to in the near future. So.. I've said what I'll say on it.. and just like any other Sookie fan.. will be waiting anxiously for my next Sookie dose!

Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter - FLIRT!
I recently finished the latest addition to the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series and have mixed feelings about the book.
I was so excited for the latest installment of the series that I may have had my hopes up a little to high. While it was a good (fast) read I found myself at the last page going "THAT'S IT?!".
One of the problems of doing a long lasting series and having great characters is that as a reader you WANT to know what's going on with every single character or at least for the story to involve the main characters more. This book centered fully around Anita and had very little to do with the characters I have come to love/hate (Richard my little drama king ugh.. where were you?).
If you are looking for a little dose of Anita, then pick up this book. If you are hoping for a lengthy in depth book about all the recent activites (the lions, the 3sum haha, her growing powers) you and I will have to wait for Bullet to be released.
