This was a really cute book featuring new characters and a more in depth look to the hunters employed by the council. 

We meet Garrett Mortimer, his partner Justin Bricker and Decker Argeneau. All of whom are Hunters. Mortimer and Bricker are assigned by Lucian to head up to Decker's cabin where there are reports of a rogue feeding off the area. 

Next door in a cabin is a trio of sisters. Samantha (Sam) Willian, Jo Willian and Alex Willian. Sam becomes smitten with Mortimer and imagine her surprise when it turns out her vacation fling is a vampire! 

All of the characters were really funny and the book was very well written. It was a fast read.. perhaps.. too fast!

The 'Hunter Series' is actually a separate series that intersects with the Argeneau Series. The Authors reading list puts this as Book 10 of the Argeneau Series for continuity of the storyline.
