I ADORE the Love at Stakes series so when I found out the Gregori's book was due out ON MY BIRTHDAY I could hardly wait! Once I finally got my hands on it, Sexiest Vampire Alive, I couldn't wait to read and so... I did. All night long!

I was not disappointed at all. Kerrelyn Sparks has created a Vampire World that I want to live in and love reading about. She makes it all seem so real and makes the Vamps so down to earth that you find yourself quite attached to them.

Gregori, the playboy, is a hilarious character and I've been long waiting for his story to be told. All of the usual characters appeared in the book and beyond the love story there was also some pretty interesting new developments. For the sake of not telling spoilers I will leave it at that.

Let me start of by saying this is one of my must read series. As soon as the book comes out get it now must read type of series. One of two or three that fall into this category. 

And it doesn't disappoint. Through out the series I've become very fond of each character introduced and Connor is no exception. So I was happy to see this book would be about him, knowing he would finally find someone to call his own, however, it wasn't just about him and Marielle.

One of the best things about Kerrelyn Sparks books is that it is full of plots. It's never just about the main characters falling in love. It continues on with the story set in previous books, weaves a new thread, introduces new characters and ends a chapter previous set in the series. 

I have never been disappointed with any of the books in the series. Each book keeps getting better and better.

Oh man what a book! 

As soon as it was said that Shanna's sister Caitlyn Whelan was going to be in this book I knew that there was going to be excitement and drama. Why? Because Caitlyn was clueless to the Vamp and Shifter life, and her father was bound to be around trying to stir up drama. 

I was right! 

Caitlyn is invited by Shanna to Tino's birthday party. Caitlyn had no clue that her long lost sister was married or had children. Their father warned Caitlyn to stay away, which only made Caitlyn want to know what was going on! 

Caitlyn is drawn to Carlos, a were-panther, and it was animal attraction from the start! But Carlos is on the prowl for another were-panther and fights at every turn to avoid falling for Caitlyn. 

With love, you don't have a choice. Caitlyn and Carlos are unable to deny what they have for very long. It was destined to be. If only they can live through the events that through them together in the first place. 

I love love love this book and all of the books in the Love at Stake Series. This is the type of book where you can't put it down until you realize its 3am and you have to work the next morning!

Love at Stake Series By Kerrelyn Sparks

The Love at Stake series is one of the best series I have ever read. It is the perfect mix of drama, mystery, love, comedy and paranormal. 

The series is full of unexpected twists. A Vampire who needs a dentist? CIA agent becoming the very thing she hunts? A Vampire Television station? Half vampire children?

The author created a vampire world that seemed so real, so much like normal life.  So many great characters and so many great stories. 

This a series were each book is about a different character. Usually I dislike this type of series as I really want to know what happens to the main characters of the first book and follow that story line. This series was different from those types. She was able to incorporate all the characters in almost every book even though the main story was from a different characters point of view each time. It was seamless and added to the story/world instead of taking away from it. 

I can't wait until the next book comes out. I'm hoping for a Connor or Gregori book! 

You really should pick up this series, trust me!!
