My name is Chris Lange and I write romantic suspense. That's my thing!
Last year, I woke up one morning with a single thought in my mind: what if suddenly found
myself in the 19th century? What would I do? How would I react? Would I be able to deal
with it?
I am no scientist so instead of wasting my time creating a time travel machine, I went to my
computer and started typing AN ERA APART: the story of a modern Californian woman who
falls desperately in love with an uptight Englishman born in the 19th century.
So far, Tracy and Garrett are my favourite characters because their relationship is real. In spite
of unusual circumstances, they're each bound to their own lives, to the way they were brought
up. And who isn't?
All I can tell you is that I had great fun writing AN ERA APART, and I hope you'll enjoy reading it. But for now, meet Tracy and Garrett:
