What a book!
Maggie James paints such a vivid picture I felt like I was Kat's character!
It started off a little bit slow for me but looking back it makes perfect sense at it takes you through every moment as if you were right there. By the time I knew it I was hooked and couldn't put the book down.
I felt for Phillip throughout the whole book. I was proud of Nina and him begging her to love him. I was mad at Joe for various reasons and then thrilled with him in others. I loved Kat's character the most. She was so real with all of her reactions to everything thrown her way.
I am so so happy that this is the first book in a series because I can't wait to read the next one!
