Irreconcilable Differences by Kiki Howell

Irreconcilable Differences

"In a world where wizards and sorcerers do not get along due to differences in their magic, the sorcerer, Aaron is hired to guard the wizard, Myleana. However, the attraction between them once locked in an unusual lab under his own wall of protection ignites in otherworldly ways. When they come under attack and all they believed in becomes questionable, will these two remain separated by their world's prejudices? Will the lies, betrayals and opinions of even their own families stand in the way of the alchemy of sex, especially when sorcery and wizardry come into play?"

My Blurb:

Love is the spell cast as Aaron, a Sorcerer and Myleana, a Wizard, are thrown together in an underground lab. Myleana, hired to open a magically protected box, and Aaron, hired to guard Myleana, fight to resist each others charms until they can't hold back any longer. As their romance heats up so does their job as they magical box opens when Aaron gets near.

Aarons past and future rests on this box, that is, if he and Myleana can survive long enough.

Lets Talk About It:

I was drawn right into the world and could feel the tension between Aaron and Myleana leaping off of the pages. Kiki Howell did a wonderful job of providing just enough detail to make the story come to life.

Even though there was drama and mystery in this book it was still a light read. It wasn't overly dark or drawn on. A quick book to get through and a good enough story for you to enjoy.

Aaron's story really tugged at my heart especially towards the end when he finally gets what he wants only to lose a piece of it.

If you're looking for a quick read full of drama, mystery, love and a few hot scenes.. pick this one up. It fits the bill!
