The book follows Etienne taking care of Rachel during her change and trying to prove to her and help her adapt to life as a Vampire. That is until she is kidnapped by that pesky mortal and Etienne risks it all to save Rachel, the love of his life.
I really enjoyed the tale of these two.
I also really enjoy how the author sets up the next book at the end of the current books so you kind of have an idea of whats going on and it really makes you want to jump right into the next book of the series.
